So, I've been very busy the past couple of weeks...and the work isn't over. We have a big inspection coming up next week and needless to say, I'm getting pretty stressed out about it. I put a lot of pressure on myself to do well and even though I know it's not ultimately ALL up to me, I would feel like I let my crew down if we didn't do as well as expected. I feel that we have put in the proper preparations, so hopefully the inspectors will see our hard work.
The good news is that I get to go to San Diego this weekend for one of my best friends' (Annette Boston) wedding. I'm super excited to see her, her family, and a few other people from the Academy that I haven't seen in quite some time. It should be a good weekend and a nice release from all of the stress here. Plus, anytime I can be around girls (yes, I work with 16 guys) for a change is a good time! I'll be sure to post some pictures when I get back.
